I bought one for my Chevy Colorado 4×4, for when I go hunting. Its great, sets up quick and the best part is the bottom of the tent stays nice and dry unlike a regular ground tent!

We have found this to be the case also. Once you sleep dry and flat it’s difficult to go back to the ground.

Optional rain fly?….like that’s not a necessity?…..why not just make it part of the package….

If it is windy, what keeps the straps from scratching the paint?

Eric, most tents come with strap holders that allows you to tie down the remaining portions of the straps. Like with anything else if it still remains to be a problem there are always zip ties.
